I just plug it in and my phone is charging while I drive where I need to go. Its very convenient. I am very glad I got it. It very easy to use.

I bought this car charger March 2010; it has worked great until yesterday (Aug. 26), which gives it a good 5 months of rapidly charging my iPhone 3GS about 1% of battery life per minute. The light to the charger still lights up when plugged in to the cigarette outlet, but my phone itself doesn't detect it. For a flat rate of $3, I really can't complain, and I'm already off to purchase another.

flimsy but works :-) i do have the fear that it might send too much current in to the phone. I have gotten two of these now. I had to re-assemble both at some point of time. Also the product is unbranded (duh!), and hence I doubt you get the same product when you buy from different sellers.

Charges OK, but too wide to fit when using otterbox case- had to carve away excess plastic to get it to fit
