goodSep 01, 2010 it got to my house the day after i ordered it and was in great shape thank you so much
Ok, but cancel options are lackingAug 31, 2010 I have played some of the DDR games for PS2. We got rid of the PS2 a few years ago, and I haven't played DDR in a while. I needed to lose a few pounds, so I thought I'd pick up a bundle for the Wii that we bought for my son last Christmas. The songs are ok, but there's nothing I get really excited about. I much prefer the dance-type songs that were in the older versions.
No big deal, but the biggest irritation is the lack of a cancel button. If I pick a song by mistake (i.e. maybe my foot was slightly on an arrow at the same time as I stepped on the select button), I go to a "confirmation" screen, but the only option is to continue. I cannot go back once I have selected a song. Poor programming.
Also, in the older versions, if I wanted to quit a song in the middle, I could step on the "A" and "B" buttons at the same time and quit. Can't do that here. Once the song starts, you have to sit and wait for it to finish. What that amounts to is that if I pick a song I don't want to do, I have NO WAY of going back to the selection screen until the song is completely finished. REALLY annoying, especially when I have a 3-year-old around who likes to push buttons and step on the dance pad.
Also, when I'm finished with a mode (i.e. maybe I'm in workout mode and want to go to dance mode or something), I can't just quickly go back to the main menu, I have to back out, one screen at a time, through 5+ screens, before I am back to the main menu screen. Who designed the UI on this thing?
Overall, the game is OK. Nothing to write home about, but it's still a good workout. Wish I could get some of the older versions for the Wii.
So you think you can dance...Aug 31, 2010 This game is 100% pure fun. Great songs, great additions to the old one and much more fun, too!! I never get tired of this game. And, if you have two dance pads, it's a blast to play with friends!
Dance offAug 10, 2010 My girls love this game. I ordered it for a b-day party and it has been fun since.

Disc read errors renders the game unplayable plus poor customer serviceAug 03, 2010 it is hard to review a game that does not work, but this game has major disc read errors.
if the disc is slightly scratched up, the game will not work. On top of that konami customer service is very poor. konami is the company that makes the DDR games. They pose no interest in helping the customer and on top of that, their warranty is unfair for customers who happen to buy a faulty game without knowing it.
okay, so when you start the game there is an 80% chance the disc will NOT be readable, viewing the tutorial for gimmick mode is an unplayable part of the disc. gimmick mode is a feature where these special arrows appear and you need to stomp them in different ways. when you think of it, this whole game is a gimmick with it's faulty disc. a game that is unplayable from the slightest blemish or scratch. my wii sports game has all sorts of scratches and i have had it from 2006 and it still works.
