Good Multiplayer - Bad Single PlayerAug 26, 2010 All Mario Party 8 is, is a board game you play on the wii. The objective is to get your character the most stars, and to be successful you need to win mini games, have a bit of luck, and use your powerups (candy) correctly.
Me and my girlfriend have a lot of fun playing this together, and it's even more fun with friends over. The only time I do not like this game, is when I'm by myself. The single player aspect of this game is just boring, but as long as you're playing with friends, expect good times.
Great Game And Must Have For Family Game Night!Aug 19, 2010 Since mario party on Nintendo 64 to mario party 8 on Wii have always been fun and addicting to play. the rules are the same except for a few new features like candy which allows the player to roll more than just 1 block on thier turn to being able to duel another player or run them over with a large ball version of yourself for coins! the mini games are all new and fun to play on the Wii also, easy to learn game and great for the kids!
mario party 8Aug 09, 2010 well i got this for me birthday and it was a very good gift but it is normally ment for long summer hours. it has a very good story. this is one of the BEST games to play with friends but not alone. me as a player i would say you should buy this game!
Fun as expected for Mario PartyJul 31, 2010 I purchased this game because I have played and loved the N64 version and wanted the update to the Wii. It's everything I expected with some really cool graphics. We haven't played through all the mini games or boards, but the ones we have we've enjoyed. The added aspect to this over the last version I played is the ability to obtain candy which gives an added aspect to the game. If you liked any other version of Mario Party, you'll probably like this one.
computer always winsJul 25, 2010 I get very fustrated because if you dont have enought players and the computer is playing with you...the computer always wins. it's rigged
