Motorola Signal Booster 4-Port BDA-S4 Cable Modem TV HDTV AmplifierAug 14, 2010 I bought this because I had pixels, freezes, and channel dropout on my Suddenlink cable when they added a whole tier of HD channels. Also I had my internet only working at 1mb per sec down and up. I had 2 HDTV's and one SDTV, plus cable modem split from my mainline. I plugged them each into the amp and added the a 25 ft coax run from the nearest electric in the attic. This took five minutes to install and my internet is now 10mb per sec down and all the TV's are clear.
Over the Air ExperinceJul 28, 2010 I used this amplifier for over the air signals. It not only gave some of the channels I wasn't getting at all but it gave me the channels I was getting much clearer. I recommend it higly.
Great Product, Easy to install. Durable.Jul 28, 2010 When i recieved the item i was pleasantly surprised to see that it was a little bigger than i thought. THe picture online makes it seem like another one of the smaller 4 port splitters. This is not, it is a nice size and feels like it is meant to do serious boosting power. Prior to using the product, i took readings from the cable box. -20db. This is with horrible old cable lines. After putting the booster in place, it is now +2db. I am very satisfied. I do plan on updating the cable linese that actually run to the boxes themselves, but that is just for my own preference. This product is awesome, and i highly recommend.
Happy Comcast CustomerJul 25, 2010 My problem was connecting 3 tv's. Two of the tv's were on the end of 100' coaxial cable runs. I was getting signal loss and digital artifacts on all tvs, even the one near where the cable entered the house. Installing the the Motorola Signal Booster cleared up all the artifacts and signal loss. I also have a cable modem, so I split the connection to it off before I installed the booster. Easy Peasy took all of 5 minutes.
Great purchaseJul 16, 2010 I was having all sorts of signal problems with Comcast before I purchased this. My cable would frequently be pixelated and even freeze up. No problems since switching to this. It was a great investment.
