Description:

If you are having cable TV picture problems this may be the product for you. It is NOT compatible with satellite TV, and will actually block satellite reception - so do not order it if you have satellite TV. This product will improve your cable TV picture and reduce pixilation, snow, and audio drop-outs that are caused by a weak signal level. It is compatible with all cable TV systems and services. You may or may not notice a difference in cable modem speed when using the amplifier. A number of factors influence cable modem speed, and there is no guarantee a booster will improve modem performance. If you are boosting an HDTV antenna signal, you should get the best HD antenna you can afford BEFORE using a booster. This signal amplifier IS NOT a substitute for a good antenna. If you are using an indoor antenna or are having HD reception problems with just a single TV attached to your outdoor antenna, this product will likely not improve your reception. If you are uncertain if this product will work for you, contact your retailer before purchasing.

5Excellent boost to TV reception!Aug 29, 2010
I purchased three of these items, to help myself and two friends get better TV reception in our RV's. It is unbelievable. The signal is strong, and we have approximately three times the number of channels that we previously had, and there is no losing the signal during a show! Absolutely wonderful!

4Indoor antennaJul 30, 2010
I have a flat indoor HD antenna that I had to move for each station group to get a clear picture. It is connected to a digital converter, which is connected to the flat screen (no digital tuner). This booster came with explicit instructions (from seller CableTVamps) that it may not improve signal on indoor antenna connected directly to a single TV. I almost repacked it for return, but thought I should hook it up, just to see. I gained three new stations and an overall increase in signal strength of 25%. Not bad, good enough to keep it. Channel 2 was unwatchable. Now it occasionally fades, but not for very long!

instructions were clear. Installation was easy as stated.
The booster had little or no effect on TV reception when the rv is more than 50 miles from transmitter.

5Simple Solution to Improve QualityJul 15, 2010
I was having trouble with poor quality cable at my home on a lake - which is fairly remote. The picture was very grainy. I had talked with the cable company about increasing their signal strength, but they were not very receptive to that idea. I added the signal booster and the picture is very clear.

5This helped my HDTV reception problemsJul 05, 2010
I had weak signal strength on my HDTV channels. My cable TV setup is this. My cable comes in from outside is split by a two way splitter one leg goes to my cable internet the other goes to the signal booster from the signal booter it goes to an eightway cable splitter that connects to all my TVs in the house. I installed this signal booster and that took care of my signal strength problems. Now I have great TV picture with no jerky picture or fuzzy channels. I should have installed this several years ago. The only thing I have to do was install an electrial outlet off a junction in my attic to run power to the signal booster and buy a coaxial jumper cable not included with purchase.
