BETTER THAN BEST BUY!Dec 17, 2009
I bought one of these from Best Buy for A LOT more money...it was a dud! After 2 days the thing broke! It also couldn't pick up the signal as well. I returned that one, and figured this one cost much less- so I couldn't lose too much...well...it works well! I am very happy with it...and sooo easy to use! Just plug in...that's it! Anway, I am happy! Don't Hesitate!

I purchased this to use with an old TiVo Series 2 with a Motorola (Comcast) digital cable box and it works great. Inexpensive replacement option and easily mountable.

FYI: Won't work with the original Slingbox, does with Tivo, othersMar 29, 2009
This product is just what you expect, but as an FYI, it's not the right size to work with a Slingbox. This is not the product's fault, it's that my original Slingbox uses a non-standard connector size. Wil work great with a Tivo or other devices that use a standard IR emitter like this one.

I got 10 of these and have liked the results so far, they have all worked as intended and the price is good. The shipping is a joke though, which is why i got 10 instead of 3.
At this time i have not cut the cable and used it spliced without a mono jack.

I lost the IR emitter from my old HP media center PC, and replaced it with this. Works like a charm.
